WTG Mia Rizzi!!!

Congratulations to 7th Grade student, Mia Rizzi, who entered the DAR (Daughter’s of the American Revolution) History Essay Contest this season.  This year, the topic was “Celebrate a Century: America’s National Parks.  Mia was awarded an Honorable Mention for her essay, “A Park Less Traveled: The Dry Tortugas, Florida.”There were 669 essays submissions across the grades of 5-8 with 14 public, private and home-schooling programs represented. Kudos to her Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Benyola, who passed the contest information along to her students.

Erin Embon
Erin Embon, a former student of Wall Intermediate School, has been a teacher and an administrator in Wall Township for 25 years. She taught all levels of mathematics at Wall High School for eleven years and then went on to become the Math and Business Supervisor. Most recently, she served as the K-12 Supervisor of Instruction. She is thrilled to be at the Intermediate School as the building principal.
