Congratulations to the Art Educators of NJ Youth Art Month State Show

On March 31st Christa Faas, Courtney Pasterchick and Dakota Donohue were recognized for their artistic accomplishments at the Art Educators of New Jersey Youth Art Month State Show.  The event was held at The State House in Trenton.  Christa Faas was the winner of the flag design for the Youth Art Month Design Contest.  Her design was used to create a large cloth embroidered flag that represented the state of New Jersey and was hung at the National Art Educators Convention in New York City earlier in March.  Dakota and Courtney were recognized for their State Youth Art Month artworks.  Traditionally, two to three students are selected from each county in the state to represent that county.  Courtney and Dakota’s artworks were selected to represent Monmouth County in the high school category.  Congratulations to these talented students for their hard work and excellence in the arts!
