Jill Dobrowansky, Director of Curriculum & Instruction
Ms. Jill Dobrowansky began her career teaching elementary school. Upon procuring her Masters Degree from Monmouth University, Ms. Dobrowansky worked closely with the Department of Education implementing after-school program grants for middle schools. After her return to school to attain a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Georgian Court University, she began her work as a public school administrator. Currently, Jill is preparing to defend her doctoral dissertation in Educational Leadership at Rutgers University. She is passionate about providing all students and staff with educational experiences that are rigorous and meaningful.
Cathleen Brenner, Elementary Supervisor
Mrs. Cathleen Brenner has been an employee of the Wall Township Public School District since September 2001. She taught fifth grade for ten years at Central Elementary School. In 2010, Mrs. Brenner took over as the district coordinator for the Gifted and Talented program for grades K-5 and kept this post until she became the Humanities Supervisor K-8 in 2013. Mrs. Brenner received her Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
Dr. Kenneth Kunz, 6-8 Supervisor
Dr. Kunz holds a doctoral degree in Teacher Leadership and a master’s degree in Reading Specialization from Rutgers University. He currently serves as President of the New Jersey Literacy Association, and is an active member of the International Literacy Association. He has presented professional development centered on literacy instruction in classrooms across New Jersey and at both state and national conferences.
Laura Kurmin, 9- 12 STEM Supervisor
Mrs. Laura Kurmin graduated from DeSales University with a dual major in Mathematics and Accounting. She started her career as an accountant and quickly learned she had missed her calling in education. Soon after, she completed her Masters in Teaching from Montclair State University and began her high school teaching career in mathematics. She earned her Supervisor Certificate through Rutgers University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Scranton. She joined the Wall High School Math Department in 2002. After 17 years of teaching, Laura is now the 9 – 12 STEM Supervisor for the Wall Township Public School District.
Dr. Rachel Lella, Elementary Supervisor
Dr. Rachel Lella has been working in the field of education since 2004. She earned her doctoral degree in teacher leadership from Rutgers University, where her research was focused on literacy instruction with struggling readers and English Language Learners. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and American Studies from Rider University and a Master’s Degree in teaching from Monmouth University.
Dr. Tracy Skinner, 9 – 12 Humanities Supervisor
Dr. Tracy Skinner attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, where she completed her Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Skinner began her teaching career in Allentown, PA before accepting a teaching position in Kapolei, HI. Before joining Wall Township Public Schools in 2014, Tracy spent eight years teaching at Great Bridge High School in Virginia serving as 504 Chair, Leadership Council Coordinator, and the NHS Supervisor. In addition, she worked with teacher candidates as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College.
