WHS District and Region Champs Head to Atlantic City for State Wrestling Championships

A record six Wall High School Wrestlers have qualified to participate in the NJSIAA State Wrestling Championships in Atlantic City. The competition starts on March 3rd and goes through the championship round on March 5th. The wrestlers qualified through their performances at the recent District 23 and Region VI competitions. Here are the wrestlers and their recent titles. They are pictured in the District 23 Champions picture below.

Shane Davis- District Champion at 220 (pictured top row 2nd from left)
Matt McKenzie- District and Region Champion at 195 (pictured top row 3rd from left)
Chad McClelland- District and Region Champion at 160 (pictured top row 2nd from right)
Rob Kannaird- District and Region Champion at 152 (pictured top row 2nd far right)
Jack Kelly- District Champion at 145 (pictured bottom row far right)
Nick Wagner- District Champion at 138 (pictured bottom row 2nd from right)

Mr. Ridoux graduated from LaSalle University in 1992 and served as a History teacher, basketball and tennis coach for 12 years. He received his Master's Degree in Educational Administration in 2004 and served as a Social Studies Supervisor and Assistant Principal before assuming his current role as Athletic Director. He lives in Wall where he is married and has two children who share his love of athletics!
